1. The entry fee is R80 for persons aged 15 and over, R40 for persons under 14 and walkers under the age of 3 are free. There is no charge for babies in prams.  Once you have completed the walk you will receive a certificate which can be collected from the Angels Walking stand. This walk is purely a walk for cancer which you do in your own time and not a race.
2. The distance is 5km.  If your child cannot walk the distance please do not enter them for the walk as we cannot be responsible for transport other than recovery vehicles and medics.
3. The walk will start at 08h00 and registration will open from 06h15. Please bring your payment confirmation.
4. Entertainment will be provided after the walk and food and drinks will be available from the various vendors.
5. Refunds will only be made should the event be cancelled.
6. Once monies paid this cannot be transferred to another person. Should you wish to cancel this must be put in writing.
7. All minors under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
8. All walkers are responsible for their own medical condition.
9. Angels Walking and their sponsors cannot be held liable for the health of the entrant, loss or damage or injury during this walk.
10. Disabled participants may take part.
11. No pets including guide dogs are permitted.
12. No smoking or drinking of alcohol is permitted.
13. Prams and wheelchairs are permitted.
14. Teams are permitted in team colours and are welcome to carry banners.
15. Please make sure you provide correct email address for confirmations.
16. Toilets are provided.
17. THE ZOO DOES NOT ALLOW BICYCLES, SCOOTERS, SKATEBOARDS OR ANY OTHER RIDES OF A SIMILAR NATURE OR BALLOONS.
18. You are welcome to bring along blankets, camping chairs and picnic baskets.
19. Sunblock will be provided.
20. The closing time of the event is 13h30. You are welcome to stay at the Zoo but the Band Stand area will pack up then.
21. Please bring along some money to buy wings and other goodies up for sale. Massages, reiki etc will be charged at a nominal fee.
22. Please notify organisers of any disabilities or medical conditions.
23. Raffle tickets will be on sale and drawn after walk at.
24. Prizes will be given out to the 10 best wings on children, women and men.
25. Online entries close on 25 August - cash will be taken on the day but please arrive early ie 6am and bring a completed entry form with you.
